“By far the best enrichment programme I’ve been to!”

Christiana Imafidon joined ACD from Dartford Grammar School for Girls in Kent in 2008. The programme recommended for an internship at Citi – which she thoroughly enjoyed.

[quote_box_left]”I enjoyed the programme so much, I recommended other people to go and am still recommending people as we speak so they can benefit from the unique opportunities I got that lead to me to where I am today![/quote_box_left]

In 2013, she presented mathematical research at Oxford University, stemming from the success of her book called ‘Maths Manual‘ to help people struggling with Maths which sold out on Amazon.

In addition to this, in 2014 she advises the IPA and the UK’s biggest advertising agencies on how to attract a more diverse workforce and increasing BAME representation in the advertising industry. Also, in the Summer of 2014 she a gave a talk to current ACD Students at the University of Cambridge where she shared her experiences and gave advice.

[quote_box_right]”I am humbled and honoured by such recognition of the work I’m doing in the community. I hope I can help more inner-city children to understand that learning is fun and Maths is a game. We hope we can raise the aspiration of every student to realise that every one of them is a genius.”[/quote_box_right]

Furthermore, through ACD she has been nominated for an award to see the Queen at Buckingham Palace for her services to the community after being honoured in the House of Commons earlier this year.

Her ultimate ambition is to make learning fun for all.
