ACDiversity Starts the Holiday Season at Slaughter and May

London: 4th December 2014

Wednesday, 3rd December marked the start of the Christmas season at African & Caribbean Diversity with the annual Christmas Market at Slaughter and May, one of the Charity’s key sponsors.

The festive evening brings together volunteers from Slaughter and May with representatives from the charities, entrepreneurs, and other organisations that the law firm supports throughout the year.

This year, the annual Christmas gathering was especially special for ACD as Trustee William Oates received Slaughter and May’s annual volunteer award for pro bono legal advice.

“I would not have won the award without ACD,” said Oates.

ACD Student Sam Adefioye and Programme Coordinator Laura Marrast also won prizes for their fast times at finding Wally and playing Connect Four respectively at the community stands displayed at the event.
