Our Mentors

We recruit mentors from a variety of firms including:

• Bank of England
• Barclays
• Citigroup
• Slaughter and May
• Withers^LLP
• Role Models from the community

 

 

These mentors are from a diverse range of nationalities and ethnicities. Sessions conducted between students and mentors range from 30 to 45 minutes at least one a month at the mentor’s workplace with students attending on average 20 mentoring sessions with their mentors every year.

Topics discuss include: subject and university choices, effective CVs, and encouraging extra-curriculum activities as well as personal development and social skills – appropriate dress, importance of maintaining eye contact.
