African & Caribbean Diversity was founded in 1990 by a group of black professionals whose shared vision was of a dynamic organization that would promote the entry, development and advancement of young people into the world of business and leadership
Since 2003, African & Caribbean Diversity’s Mentoring and Enrichment Programme has been bringing together city professionals and 14 to 18 year old black British young people from London’s state schools. Our mission is to improve the academic attainment, career prospects, and social mobility of students who largely come from households that face inter-generational economic and social exclusion, as a result of poverty.
The ACD Mentorship and Enrichment programme runs over the course of 4 years with students enrolling from age 14 up until they turn 18.
Our programme includes a range of events and opportunities such residential retreats, workshops, company visits and one-on-one sessions with corporate mentors.
